Application arrogance

When a software application’s default installation includes putting icons in your system tray and quick launch bar, presumably for “convenience.” Applications guilty of this: Quicktime RealPlayer Microsoft Office 2003 (as I recently discovered and which prompted this entry) And the list goes on…
